I have to admit, I may have rolled my eyes when I was going to start playing Spec Ops: The Line, thinking it would be yet another cover based militaristic shooter where youll hide behind cover, shoot enemies, and repeat for six-plus hours. While I did get that, which is what I was expecting, what I also got was an intriguing story packed with real emotion that made me question my decisions. It concluded with a captivating ending and will have me remembering it for some time; it even had some decent shooting mechanics under the hood as well."

State of Decay to get "Pure Survival" mode
Despite its launch troubles, State of Decay is still the fastest selling original game on Xbox Live, and developer Undead Labs isn’t resting on its laurels. A new "pure survival" sandbox mode is in the works, and a follow-up game is under discussion.
First State of Decay patch out, but is it working?
Shortly after our review of State of Decay was submitted last week, Title Update 1 was released in order to address the game’s many bugs. We tested it and found that it only works with brand new gamesaves. Developer Undead Labs is working on a fix.
Square Enix lays off half of IO Interactive
It doesn’t seem to get any easier for the western studios owned by Square Enix. The developer behind the Hitman franchise was cut down to half by the Japanese publisher, reportedly in order to refocus solely on a future "Triple-A" Hitman title.
