"If you like First Person Shooter games with a lot of gritty realism, whip smart Artificial Intelligence, and complex storylines, then steer clear of the Serious Sam series - very, very far away. Serious Sam is a FPS that revels in its simplicity and over the top gameplay.
The gameplay largely consists of putting you in an enclosed areas and sending waves and waves of enemies toward you to mow down."
Overall: first and foremost...im a fan of serious sam while everyone fragged eachother in unreal and quake...i enjoyed the bedlam of serious sam...huge levels...more enemies on screen coming at you than you can shake a stick at...and a huge end boss..now we finally get a real sequel on the pc and xb and the xb version gets the wrong end of the stick....it looks worse than the first game in most cases and has some particulary bad slowdown...and some bland bland textures that made we wonder if they didnt use the unreal engine on this instead of the must advance serious engine 2...i hate to say it but im gonna have to get the pc version it runs somewhat better and nothing is cut out for the sake of what little porformance it does...rent it first
better yet wait for the xb version of painkiller Gameplay: move-kill-grab weapon-kill-open door-kill-get key-kill-find item-kill-repeat-kill boss-repeat
very good if not hindered by framerate Graphics: bland textures...doesnt feel move or look like it uses any new methods like bumb or normal maping..and the framerate is as bothersome as the enemies...i guess it could be the lack of ram or is it? dont know i hope they stick around and do something for the 360 i hope this looks as bad as that unreal 2 game i warned all about Sound: nothing bad to report here
just uptempo music for big fights and quips from sam are pretty funny..and some of the stuff cortan..im mean netrisa are kind bleh but in all its ok more jokes the better Suggestions: give us a 360 version please
redemption is possible
