"Do you ever have those moments when you realize that you have lost a piece of your life? You know; when you spend time doing something just to realize that it did nothing but eat your time and waste precious moments of your life that you could have been doing something else? Well, I just had one of those moments while playing the aptly named Xbox game ‘Run Like Hell’."

Overall: Well.....it is okay for an action game that has just come out.It wasn't the best of adventure or action games that I have come across. Gameplay: the gameplay of this game is a lot like 007:Agent under Fire.Which was a dissappointment because it looked like a rush job. Graphics: The visuals were great compared to some others I have seen.I like this game for the most part. Sound: The soundeffects were pritty cool.I sounded like you could hear each and every bullet that came out of the barrel.
Overall: If your into games like Resident Evil or the survivial Horror Genre....you NEED this game. This is by far the most underrated game for Xbox....ever. You play the lead role as Captain Conners. You're stationed on a space station somewhere in deep space. All is well till these creatures called "The Race" (Think organic version of the Borg for you trekkies) get on the station and kill dam* near everyone. This living organism begins to....well....if you want to know the rest you'll have to buy the game. Gameplay: Unlike The RE series, The action is fast and furious in this one. It has plenty of action, puzzles, and random scares to keep you playing for hours on end. The controls are smooth with the ability to move the camera around as you move around yourself. All in all very solid. Graphics: One word, Stunning. The best way to describe it is an interactive movie....it's that polished. Characters look great and the aliens look even more stellar. Am I high on this game? You bet! Sound: Overall sound is pretty good and it has an excellent soundtrack. The part that could use adjusting is the Sound effects and character voices. I found myself having to adjust these things in game quite often and even at times turning up my TV to hear....other then that...still soild. Add in the Hollywood voice acting which includes Lance Henrickson(Aliens) Kate Mulgrew(Capt Janeway From Star Trek Voyager), Clancy Brown (Highlander) and Brad Dourif(Alien Resurrection), Michael Ironside(Splinter Cell), and a cast of others makes this a hell of a production. Suggestions: My only suggestion is to...PLEASE...For the Love of GOD....make another one!! This version left me salivating for more!! Oh, and maybe just fix the sound a tad.....Hell, screw the sound....Just make another one!! Seriously though, Most underrated game....EVER! Buy it, rent it....trust me...if you like survivial horror....You'll fall in love with this game inside of 10 minutes.
Overall: Run Like Hell is a third-person, action survival horror. It has some puzzles that are much like Resident Evil, and a lot more action than RE. You spend the entire game (~15 hours worth of play) running around the Forsetti Space Station killing lots of aliens that attact the station. The story is a good one. Gameplay: The game is essentially a third-person shooter with tons of action. The controls are excellent and responsive. It's easy to switch targets rapidly and take out multiple enemies. There's a nice choice of weapons as well. The cutscenes are awesome (there's about 50 of them) and they are worked into the game very smoothly, establishing the story. Graphics: The graphics are average. Up close, some textures are bad. Not as good as they could have beenon the xbox, but not by any means are the graphics poor. Cutscenes are a mix of CG (which are awesome) and real-time graphics. Sound: Ok, here's the problem. The backround noise is SO loud you can barely make out the voices in the cutscenes. This really takes away from the game. I don't like to crank my TV's volume and strain my ears to make out half of what is being said. However, on the bright side, the music is beautifully crafted and scares the heck out of you. It is very appropriate. Also, there is a licenced band that make the music. The game includes the Run Like Hell soundtrack on an extra CD, which is neat. Suggestions: Fix the sound. I can't make out the words in the cutscenes. Maybe add subtitles too. Also, the game sometimes sputters when you enter a room, and occasionally crashes the xbox! A game this small should not tax the xbox! These problems seriously take away from an otherwise excellent game.
