Conflict: Desert Storm
Overall: I was a little reluctant on getting this game because the guy at gamestop said it sucked compared to socom. I got it anyway and let me tell ya, im glad i didnt listen to him. this game is really a blast to play. playing with a friend or up to 3 in coop is what really makes this game shine though.I gave overall appeal a 5 because once i got going i played until i struggled to keep my eyes open.Gameplay: the gameplay is good also but not perfect. the only complaint i have for this game (which may not be for others) is the aiming/looking system. you basically use controls to move and look around then it springs back to regular position. when an enemy pops up it aims automatically for you pretty much no matter where they are on your screen. its ok, but i realize this game isnt about run and gun with emphasis on shooting like a fps. what makes this game KICK ASS is you have 4 characters on your team, and each has a special job like a rifleman, machine gunner, sniper, and demolitions. there is nothing better than blowing up an installation or tank while your friend holds off waves of infantry. coop just plain rocks. what this game shoots for it accomplishes very well.
Graphics: the graphics are good but not great. in singleplayer they look nice and very fluid but not like halo caliber. the graphics arent halo caliber once again so the coop play doesnt slow. I havent played with3 or 4 people yet but with 2 people there is no slowdown at all. that is very cool considering i notice big slowdown in halo coop.
Audio: the soundtrack is nice but not wonderful. the sound fx are cool but still not outstanding. but this is the only game like this on xbox where you can use a custom soundtrack. this feature is so cool especially in this game. it doesnt get any better than blowing people away and listening to some drowning pool or saliva or anything for that matter.
Suggestions: make another. maybe 3 kingsish style (at the end or desert storm)
