Halo 2

Overall: Halo 2 is the long awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed powerhouse shooter released 3 years ago. I purchased a copy in 2002 and at first did'nt see where all the hype was until I went deeper into the game. I was amazed at the quality of the game overall. As for Halo 2, I must say that I have been taken deper into this universe with much joy and happiness.

Gameplay: Halo 2 is similar to the first with may added new features, being that everyone else in the world has already elaborated on them I won't. However, I will say that it is a relief to see that there are very creative people behind this game with very fresh ideas who also know how to preserve quality game play.

Graphics: It's visuals are much more diverse and complex in comparison to the first Halo. Giving added detail to certain aspects of the environments and characthers that once seemed trivial. Very overwhelming.

Audio: High quality soundtract with old and new music. Sound effects makes your heart race as if you are truly in battle for your own survival and not just in a game.

Suggestions: Seeing what it really takes to make a high quailty game such as this, I dont mind spending my hard earned money towards quality games. Coming from a sequel, it feels even better. The same could be said for another X box classic Otogi, and Otogi 2, different style but superior to the original. Thank you Bungie for all the long hours and dedication to the Halo community.

BIG FAT CHRISTMAS BONUS FOR YOU GUYS!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO

Overall: This game is the S**T!!!. The fact of the AC/EOism, and the Groove really brought the level of game play up a notch. Surprise endings and classic capcom fighting game appeal made this one a winner. Besides the 40+ characters worked well too.The one Downside was lack of actual Capcom fighters. They should have named this one Streetfighter Vs. SNK Plus.

Gameplay: The diversity of play options really made this one a GOLD MEMBER of the magna_mozz69 collection. Alongside thevast online play was pluss too. Replay really let me rub it in to the opposition, and let me remind them who's house they were at. But seeing the year 2001, kinda discourages you because you feel as if your in a time warp.

Graphics: 2D means nothing to true hardcore fans. In fact. the colours and backround style of the game gave a classic feel, with some new added incentives. This game makes your eyes smile with its bright diveristy. PS- you made need glasses for that character selection though.

Audio: Sound is really good on this one. Like the soundtrack, and the effect sounds are awesome too. Classic Capcom style.

Suggestions: Maybe we should start a new original fighting story like back in the day with Rival Schools and Darkstalkers. I like playing my Capcom cast but lets do something a little more new next time. But overall, Thank you Capcom.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10
Spawn: Armageddon

Overall: Spawn is a 3D action adventure game which provides you with all the special abillities and powers of the comic character, along with a vast array of weapons. May other special features are also included with game including; comic covers from 1-99, an encyclopedia of reference for new Spawn fans, and much more.

Gameplay: Spawn has a great game play to it, once you adapt to the controller options you can defeat your enemies any which way you want. Combining your arsenal, along with your hell powers to defeat bosses is key. To get around each level, Spawn has various ways of airial movement as well as his slow jog(but then again the guy is 400+ pounds).

Graphics: This is where my excitement level dropped. I was expecting to see a more detailed, a more visually stunning game, They're not horrible, but you had probably hoped for something a bit more. Maqybe after a few more hours.

Audio: Spawn has very erie sound to it. Not for the play in the dark at home alone. The music, as well as the fighting sequinces, and character voices are stamped with the Spawn seal of quality.

Suggestions: As said before I was hoping for a more visually stunning game. I was hoping for Spawn to look mora loke his Soul Calibur 2 counter parts. Still a good game over all. Recommended!

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10
Otogi: Myth of Demons

Overall: Otogi is an excellent game for the person who is a hardcore action/ adventure gamer, who would also appreciate the aspect of hints of RPG gaming without getting too technical. A 'very' Japanese style of game within regards to sounds, fighting styles, characteristics, etc., this game gives you the feel as if you were playing a true import. More than 25 levels(I am stuck on 24) with beautiful interactive environments for you to wreck and obtain various items from. A vast arsenal of weapons that could be broken down for each stage of the game, magic powers either to crush multiple foes, or one giant catipilliar, and accessories to increase your potency. It's game like this that make you appreciate the quailty and the power of the 'X'.

Gameplay: Otogi has a real good game play to it. Between combining fighting moves, dash attacks, and magic, you turly are a demon killing machine. Camera movements, and action moves are fast, but at times limiting when needing specific angles of view. Some levels require great detail attention, some require you to move quickly. Through levels you can loose life points and magic, which can be regained by killing demons, and obtaining items. Overall an great game play with very minor flaws.

Graphics: Visually Otogi is stunning. Giving you the feel of the landscape of ancient Japan. Characters and demons are well detailed. And menu screens are visually georgeous.

Audio: Otogi's sound are excellent from the music of anicent Japan, to the sword slashing, and magic attacks, it truly is a treat for the ears.

Suggestions: Thank you for a great game, I look forwad to Otogi 2 (spring 2004), It would be cool if the camera angles could be improved on.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Overall: Finally!!! Marvel Vs. Capcom2 is on the box! So far it's the same as the Dreamcast version. Acting out combos aren't as easy since you have to do them manually. And since it's not on 'Live' like we had all originally anticipated, the game is routine. But I've already picked up all my characters, and I've conqured it 8 times already. Still having too much fun with this one

Gameplay: Routine. Same as before with the Dreamcast. But this is the best Capcom fighting came there ever was, or will be so far. And now that I have to do combos manually it ups the game challenge!!!

Graphics: Same graphics and visuals. But displayed better in the XBox version in comparison to the (cheap) PS2 version.

Audio: I should become a freakin' recording machine after this review. So I'll say this instead; THE SOUND KICKS ASS!!! Between the music and fighting sound effects, no game has come close.

Suggestions: We should have gone live, some more off the Darkstalker characters would have been cool. Also maybe some more Marvel characters too... Maybe I'll be surprised a few days from now...? Hope so.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Robotech: Battlecry

Overall: Now if we could get a Transformers, GI Joe, and ThunderCats game too, I'll be set. This game is for Robotech fans only. Even though this game is flawless to me, only a true fan can appreciate the games missions' and storyline. But I feel it's worth a try for anyone.

Gameplay: Very easy to play and get about in the early begining. Some missions may be frustrating but their are more obtuse games out there

Graphics: Cannot give this game enough props. The transformations are detailed as are the other robots, ships , backgrouds etc. Truly Excellent

Audio: Again, another factor of this game that may require you to be a Robotech fan to appreciate, but definately works well with each mission sequence.

Suggestions: Come out with a Sentinels game because I really liked the idea of people with armor from their motorcycle.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10
Thing, The

Overall: Has a creepy Resendent Evil appeal with more of a challenge to it. Definatly more to do than any other sci-fi/ horror game. Controls need some getting used to but after a few kills, it gets better!

Gameplay: At first this game seems discouraging because you need to become adjusted to the controls but once you start moving around, and piecing the puzzle together time is the last thing on your mind. A winner.

Graphics: No complaints here, sorry. The graphics are very clear and crisp. Unlike some games that confuse you when you get caught in corners, this game does not place you in that perdicament.

Audio: The sound is excellent on this one. I was definately on the edge of my seat with the creepy sounds of this game.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10
