Panzer Dragoon Orta
Overall: This is a great shooter game. I'm new to the series so it was a bit of a gamble to pick this title up. The graphics look great, the gameplay is smooth and the action is non-stop. My only gripe with this game is that it is in some other language and you have to read the sub-titles to get the story. I don't know about you, but when I play a game I don't want to have to read. (that's what books are for) Just a little annoying.
Gameplay: This is a great single player game, non-stop action and it is a great alternative to FPS games. Like I said, the downfall of this game is that you read subtitles to understand the storyline, since this game is in some foreign language.
Graphics: Unbeleivable, this is in the top 5 xbox games for eye candy. The cutscenes are beautiful and the gameplay is very detailed. Xbox Quality.
Audio: The sound is great. You really notice the in-game dolby. What more can I say - lasers just sound so much better when you have a sub-woofer backin it up! :)
Suggestions: This game is great, but I would have enjoyed it more if it were in English. The voice acting is irritating, the only word I understood was ORTA!

Apex
Overall: This is my favorite of all my racing games - especially for multiplayer. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is smooth.... Definately better than PGR.
Gameplay: The physics in this game are similar to those of Test Drive. Its pretty easy to control your cars and they corner well. Great game for when freinds come over..
Graphics: The graphics are great, the sun effects really make it seem hard to see, the roads look real, and the cars look stunning. Good show of the xbox power.
Audio: Well, for some reason it picks a song to play from your soundtrack and keeps repeating that song throughout the race, which is a bit annoying, but any game that supports custom soundtracks gets a good score from me
Suggestions: Fix up that song re-peating thing, and of course LIVE support!

Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO
Overall: I feel a great shame, for I have purchased this monstrosity (There is a no-return policy at Microplay... DOH!) This is the worst title to ever grace the likes of the xbox. The screencaps do not do any justice.
Gameplay: This game is overly complicated for a fighter, the menu is complex and I had a hard time finding someone to battle online via live. Its a sad day for the xbox.
Graphics: This is what breaks my heart. The characters where directly ported over from wherever they came from. SuperNes graphics. What blows my mind is that the game chugs along, The framerate is all over the place and the character models are extremly pixelated. I can replicate the eyes with my keyboard. (..)
Audio: They spent about as much time on the graphics as they did the sound. A gameboy game has better audio. This is just terrible.
Suggestions: All I have to say to the developers is FOR SHAME! I feel violated after spending my hard earned money on this title. I was a big Street Fighter fan back in the day, and was looking forward to the revival of these characters.
This game is a nightmare...

Serious Sam
Overall: I played this on the PC a few years ago, and it was neat. The x-box version is exactly the same. I would never buy this game, especially when you can get the PC version for 10 bucks (why spend $50) I don't understand why this game was getting such good reviews, these people made me waste my free rental at blockbuster.
Gameplay: The controls are OK, simple, but this game looks like it was made for a 10 year old, so they would have to be. Just run around and shoot, button mash, etc.
Graphics: This game would be impressive if I were playing it on a PS2. Really, nothing special, its not ugly, but it could have been so much better.
Audio: Repeaditive and boring, especially in multiplayer - when it gets annoying. Letting us add our own soundtrack would have made this game less crappy.
Suggestions: If you have to port a game over from the PC, at least choose a good game. Sheesh

Deathrow
Overall: I own 10 xbox games now - and this one has me addicted more so than any other. I'm not into sports games, but with a twist like this, it blew me away!
Gameplay: I started out playing in sports view, and after a few games switched it up to action view... Action view is way better, lot O fun. I am still waiting to try this game out with xbconnect. Online multiplayer will be great!
Graphics: The game looks great! The intro seen at first threw me off (It looks amazing), but the overall graphics are sweet, there has been no framerate issues, just a perfect title for the perfect system!
Audio: Well, playing in 5.1 is great, almost spooky - hearing someone behind me call me a motherf*ck#r from behind is hillarious. My wife has to leave the room when I play - so there is an added bonus!
Suggestions: Perhaps make Deathrow 2 Live! enabled, but other than that the game rocks!
