Robotech: Battlecry

Overall: I've never seen the robotech anime but this game still presented an intersting story and being able to do battle in giant robots is always cool.

Gameplay: The controls take a while to get used to, considering they are different in the three different modes of the Veritech fighter. One problem with the missions is that alot of the "defense" missions are unusually hard and they become very boring.

Graphics: Although cel shading has become highly overused it fits perfect in this game. Battles usually consist of hundreds of missles flying all over the screen and stuff exploding everywhere.

Audio: The sound isn't bad, but there isn't anything that really stands out. All the standard sound effects are there and the background music is pretty lame.

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10
Halo

Overall: Futuristic SciFi Battle on an alien Ring that has the power to destroy the universe, what could be better, being able playing through the whole story with a friend and then killing him in multiplayer. Oh yeah, you also get to drive tanks and fly alien planes.

Gameplay: Controls are very intuitive and easy to pick up. Player profiles allow you to customize your buttom layouts and viewing speeds.

Graphics: The best visuals in any game to date. Indoor levels are a bit cookie cutter, but the outdoor scenes are unbelievable.

Audio: Sound effects are excellent and with surround sound you know exactly where the action is. The background music fits the action of the game too, letting you know when battle is about to erupt.
