Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004

Overall: Finally, you EA people made an option for a "lefty" golfer, so I can create myself. This game is great, no need to even rent it, just get it. If you liked 2003, you'll love 2004. Nice new feature that detects other EA games you've played so you don't have to start out with nothing. You can earn sponsorships and buy lots of stuff with the money you earn, from equipment to clothing to jewelry. Lots of courses to play too. PGA Tour mode is improved because now you can save after each round/day of a tour. The gameplay itself is very similar to 2003, so not much new to learn on that. World Tour mode is a nice touch, definitely check it out. Create a golfer has also come a long way, you get to choose negative and positive animations, swing types, etc. What else can I say, I LOVE IT and I'm ADDICTED!!

Gameplay: Gameplay hasn't changed much, and there was really no need to. I didn't have a problem with that part. You can now gold left-handed if you want to, which I like since I am a lefty shot. They added a chip shot too, which is nice. More courses make it more challenging. Bethpage Black course is my favorite so I'm glad it's in there. Realtime events is nice, if you follow golf you can play along at the same time as the pros. There are enough game types to keep you playing for hours.

Graphics: One of the reasons I went with X-BOX over PS2 a few years back was because I thought X-Box graphics rendering would be way better. But I've given that up, they don't try to make it better. They just take what PS2 has and port it over to X-Box. So the visual is great, but it could be and should be better. Weather has been added ,so it could be raining while you play a round. Other than that, the visuals are pretty much the same as in 2003. Water makes sounds, but you don't see it move. During the gameplay though it's good. There are crowds watching, but they are not moving. I'll give them props for the actual golfers visuals. Like when it's windy, your pants will ripple in the wind. The animation for golfers are hilarious. GameFace is cool, you can really make some funny looking golfers.

Audio: NICE! Birds chirping, raindrops hitting the fairway, crowds erupting, waves crashing into cliffs, all of it is there. You can almost hear when you take a bad swing.

Suggestions: Thanks for adding lefty-golfers. Visuals could be better for X-Box versions, maybe you could make the crowds move around. On the ocean holes with the waves crashing, make the water move, it looks stupid when you hear waves but the water is still?

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
MVP Baseball 2003

Overall: This is an awesome baseball game. I've been waiting for a new baseball game for X-Box. This is it! The new batter-pitcher interface it great. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but pitching is as much fun as hitting, and the game is not too easy or difficult. The games can be played in less than 1 hour, making finishing an entire 162 season realistic.

Gameplay: Like I said, the batter-pitcher interface is the best part about this game. It is the reason this is the best baseball game for the Xbox. I find it hard to stop playing. Hitting isn't that easy, so hitting stats are realistic. Pitching is even more fun. Start out on Rookie if you want to get used to hitting, but Pro is a pretty even challenge for anyone. All-Star was really hard. Gameplay is overall an awesome experience.

Graphics: The stadiums look very close to real. So do the players faces. When you pitch, you can actually see the rotation of the seams on the baseball in replay mode. Curveballs and slider have accurate spinning action on them.

Audio: I've only played a few games with the sound on. The announcers are good, and usually right on with what's happening. Of course, like most games they get repetitive, but that's expected.

Suggestions: A fantasy draft would be great! That would be the best feature to add. Also, you should be able to keep more players active.
It would be more challenging if you had to actually warm up your relief pitchers before bringing them in, but that's not a big deal.
