Overall: EA waited an extra year to release a 360 game and thier first attemt on the 360 is a half polished we kinda tried result. Gameplay: A bit jerky, not fluid. EA failed really bad at making the "feel" even if you change the controls to classic instead of skill stick.
Graphics: Nothing to glorify here, Cut scenes were pretty but in-game was ok at best. The ice was the same as always were as NHL2k6's ice is very impressive. That's right, even last years 2k version had better graphics.
Audio: They got this part right, but how do you really screw sound up.
Suggestions: Do a better job. I am so happy I rented this piece of crap instead of buying. 2006 on the PC was way better when things were tuned correct. The game may have been playable if you could make it fluid and not so jerky.

ESPN NHL 2K5
Overall: The AI so far has impressed me. I have never seen this smart of a defense. The new 2on2 games on a mini rink or regular rink are a blast. This is a simulation game, not arcade style. There are party games too. Gameplay: Very nice, If you are a Gamer you may not like this, if you are a hockey player and a gamer like me, you will respect what they have done here. One thing i wish they could and is harder checking for when I am in a hard hittin mode. The slider is all the way up and i still want more.
Graphics: Excellent! One thing they could change, I use the 3/4 camera, i just wish when the other team got the puck and was going down on mt screen i could get a better view of my defense. Also the ice is to dark at the begining of a period. Other than that, great job sega.
Audio: I like the new commentating. 5.1. Haven't really noticed anything yet that's bad. I have nothing more to say.
Suggestions: Camera views, brightness of ice at begining of period.

NHL 2K3
Overall: pretty good, at first i didnt like it but it grew on me. ive been playing the ea version since the very first one so the controls where alittle different. but more relistic after you get used to it.Gameplay: very good, i still cant pin anyone on the boards yet. fun but slow, so i turned up the game playspeed, that fixed that.
Graphics: not great, not bad, the faces arent even close, but the ingame is ok. i would like to see what they have done with thier nfl graphics and make the nhl that pleasing to the eyes.
Audio: oh my, not even in DD. WHAT! come on, you have to do dolby digital. good grief. the sound was not that good. checks, shots, passes. where those made with a keyboard. i will give props for hitting the post, that sounded real.
Suggestions: lets do better guys, i know you can, the sound is horriable.
