Midway Arcade Treasures 2
Overall: Ahh, memories... after getting psyched about the first installment of Midway's Arcade Treasures, I was even more excited that Midway decided to continue (and maybe even more) the collection with Arcade Treasures 2. I'll be honest, even though the game includes 20 games and I was aware of the lineup before I purchased it, the one game that sold it for me was NARC, I just remember being 10 and playing it for hours with my friends on NES. Now I am able to own it again along with other classics. Arcade Treasures 2 is a great deal at $20 regardless if you like any of the games or not and is great to bring out when you have the buddies over for a night of drinking. Playing the title by yourself tends to bring symptoms of ADD as you find yourself continuously stopping in the middle of a game to switch to another, so I recommend that you enjoy this title with a friend.
Gameplay: Arcade Treasures 2 improves from the last volume by allowing the player to adjust gameplay settings for each game like difficulty and control settings. This I thought was great because I was getting my arse kicked in MK3 and later realized that i could change the difficulty to easy. The game menu looks a lot better also, players are informed of game origin and many more extras like videos. The games are true to arcade form if not better coming to the Xbox platform. On a nice TV one would feel as if they were at the arcades.
Graphics: Not much I can about this topic other than the graphics are true to what they were in the arcades. They haven't been improved or anything for the Xbox, so they stay true to the original. The best game graphically had to be Rampage: World Tour which suprisingly is a pretty recent game if not the newer of the group.
Audio: The sound is pretty hilarious, old school games aren't old school without the cheesy sound fx and we all were impressed with them back in the day, but now they are just comical. I didn't really expect much from the sound department on this title but I was kind of disappointed at the MK2 and MK3 lineup. The two games that carry this title have the worst sound out of all the games. The sound is mono and very trebly which can get very annoying. But if you are a true gamer you can get past the annoyance.
Suggestions: For the next installment (if you do another one) leave out the games that a lot of us have never heard of like "Kozmik Krooz'r" and "Wacko". They're great and all but it would have been nice to leave those out for MK1. Also Super Sprint was in the first one and Championship Sprint is in this one and they are pretty much exactly the same so I thought that was a waste. Other than that I can't wait for Midway Arcade Treasures 3!

Midway Arcade Treasures
Overall: 24 Old-School Games, what more can I Say? This game is fun when you have friends over and wanna take a trip down memory lane. Some of the games are not that good and it makes me wonder why they even put them on this title. Otherwise buy it for Gauntlet, Rampage, and Smash TV.
Gameplay: The games are really fun, too bad theres no save feature, so I basically played for a few minutes and switched to another game, if you really wanted to you could beat most of these games within 30 min.
Graphics: I didn't expect much Visually from this title but this is probably the first time I have played these game in HIGH DEFINITION. The colors looked great and a lot better from what I remember 15 years ago.
The DVD content is very bad quality.
Audio: The sound is not very good, but I wouldn't expect much from classic games. They promised 80's music on the DVD part, but it was nowhere to be found..?.?
