Rallisport Challenge

Overall: I love this game. I was a HUGE fan of Mobil 1 Rally on PC back in the day, and I havn't met my rally match until now. I actually enjoy playing this game. The courses are very challenging, especially the very tight and twisty ones. It takes getting used to. This game has been one that I have been looking into ever since it was annouced, and I have not been disapointed with the results. It's an AWSOME experience all around. It's guaranteed the best racer to hit Xbox to date.

Gameplay: The game play's sorta like Gotham where you unlock cars, but the method is done by points, wich you get for winning, high top speed and having low damage. The actual racing though is very competitive. It's not something you'll beat in an hour. The multiplayer is fun also, with up to 4 player split screen. It's really fun to bump your buds on an ice track.

Graphics: WOW! I don't know how to say this, but I think this game is up there with Halo, if not WAY past it. This is HANDS DOWN the nicest looking racer i've ever seen. This one will put a stop to all those who say GT3 can't be topped visually, this game has done it!

The damage is also VERY impressive. I was surprised at how mangled up these cars can get, and one neat feature is when you break a window, it actually LOOKS like there's no window, not like some other games. I havn't gotten any parts to come flying off yet, so i'm not sure if it happens, i'm thinking it won't

Audio: My ears are loving this experience. The car's actually have a different sound. You can hear fans cheering as you drive by them. I mean what more could you want?

The music is decent for rally racing, and the fact that you can bring your own music in makes the naysayer's about the music happy.

Suggestions: I'd say put MORE tweeking in. It would be nice to have a more gran turismo esque tuning experience. It is nice being able to decide if you want a short or long gear box for example, but some gear heads like me like to further tweek those settings.

If you had that amout of tuning that Gran Turismo does, you would (in everyone's eyes not only mine) have the best racer out to date.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding

Overall: Anyone who disses this game, didn't play it for very long, or didn't pay attention to what they were doing. This is a great game, I find it refreshing to the snowboarding game, it was actually a challenge and fun to play, not a been there done that title, good originality, and I respect that. Little bit of a learning curve didn't seem to bother my 6 yr old brother, he actually beat me a few times at best trick. I don't see why everyone is complaining.

Gameplay: Easy to control game, you can just pick it up and play after a glance in the manual as to what does what, but a little bit of studying will be required to master them. IT'S NOT a button mashing experience like Tony Hawk. You have to pay attention to what you are doing to please sponsors, for example if they like big airs, don't go grinding a tree... it's not what they are looking for! I think they did a great job with the controls. Get's a 5 for originality of gameplay.

Graphics: I think this is the best looking title on Xbox right now, even my dad who never plays video games noticed you could see the bottom of the hill from the top, and there was no pop-in, Amazed him and I. He actually said seing that made it worth the purchase of the console, knowing it wasn't jumpy (bad port of Dave Mirra for Dreamcast brings back huge memories of this). The hills look amazing, really really good looking game. The clothes flap when you go really really fast !

Audio: The music is cool, it can get you going if your an open minded music person like I am, I'll listen to anything and everything, and the amped soundtrack perfectly compliments the game. The feature to bring in my music will prove to be valuble also.

Suggestions: Don't change a thing, well maybee for amped 2 use different mountains and stuff (Whistler/Blackcomb would be neat... HINT) Good job on gameplay though, this one ain't gonna wear off!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Project Gotham Racing

Overall: I think this is the most innovative racing game i`ve yet to play. It`s much funner then GT3, and I didn't find Kudos all THAT hard to find. Having different game modes is GREAT because you are never totally stuck on one challenge.

Gameplay: The driving of these cars is amazing. For example, the mini peels when you hammer on it, because of it's smaller profile where as the beetle sticks, typical of a car with bigger wheels. I found that to be a really really neet feature. The steering of the cars is great, but I must admit, the rear-wheel drive cars are almost too well depicted and it is tough to drive them for someone who is not used to them (my 8 year old brother for example has trouble cornering the Z3). I love the different game modes though, arcade mode is a blast, quick race is a breeze for a seasoned racer like me, and kudos is just plain challenging. Great great game !

Simply Amazing controls, the Xbox controler really compliments this game.

Graphics: The cars look amazing, and the damage is a really neat feature. I havn't played this yet on my 52" RCA HDTV so i'm unsure about how crisp the picture is, but it looked great on the 32" tv I played it on today. Really neet grafix I must say.

Audio: Again, I havn't played this game on my home theatre yet, but the engine noises were different, and the game music actually had me going. I like the DJ feature, that was really sweet.

I can't wait to load up my cruising cd onto my harddrive and race some gotham!

Suggestions: My only suggestion would be to not change the gameplay, this is a solid title, and i'm ever soo happy to have gotten it for x-mas.

Maybee bring in a few more cars for us car hungry guys : )
