Hunter: The Reckoning

Overall: Overall the game is very good. The only minor complaints I have about is the automatic fixed camera angles. They're only a problem a few minor levels but are not distracting overall. I can understand why they did though. It would be totally chaotic if one or more players were rotating the camea while the others were playing. Hunter: The Reckoning highly recommended to people who enjoy action, zombies, and gore. It is another must buy game for Xbox owners.

Gameplay: You play four characters (hunters), each with their own unique melee weapons and edge powers they aquire. Edge powers are like spells which consume your conviction bar when you use them. All characters can also aquire weapons like guns, chainsaws, and flamethrowers. All of which require ammo that can be found within the levels are from enemies.

The controls are very intuitive and easy to use. Use the left thumbstick move and the right thumbstick to aim and strafe. The right trigger fires and the left trigger allows your character to jump. The game is not a button masher like a few people say. If you button mash you die. Plain and simple. The game requires you use some strategy while you're running around killing monsters.

Each level requires you to fullfill objectives such as clearing the level of undead, rescuing innoncents, finding keys, or beating a boss. The bosses are hard. You have to use your skills learned from the game to beat them. You can't just go in blasting away.

Graphics: The graphics are very impressive and always run at a constant 60fps with no slowdown when there are 50-100 undead along with your character on screen at once. The environments are huge and very detailed. The monster themselves are also very detailed and animate very well.

Audio: The sound is also great. The game has a metal gothic industrial soundtrack with errie ambience background sounds. The sound effects are great too. The moans of zombies shambling pass you to the blast of your shotgun blasting them to bits and all be heard distinctly and around as you're playing.

Suggestions: Make the camera less tight in some levels. More characters, combos moves, and edges!
