Project Gotham Racing
Overall: I really liked this game at first and for good reason. It is an adrenaline rush and it's a blast to play. As you progress it get's harder fast. This game is the hardest XBOX game I have. Quick races require speed and dirty tricks. Arcade races reward style and speed. And it challenges you're limits so you'll never get bored. I'd suggest it to people who like challenegs and/or racing fans.
Gameplay: The gameplay was even, but I thought you should have had more options. I know that car driving requires more-a-less 2 triggers and the handbrake, but I think they should have done more. The controls are well placed, but their should be more little options like turning on/off your headlights and maybe a little more freedom on the tracks.
Graphics: The graphics are sweet, not Halo sweet, but still pushing the XBOX's limits and doing an incredible. The four real-life cities in the game are as realisitc to the real thing as it is going to get. I would have enjoyed more neon lights and special effects (and better ones) such as smoke. I personally like the graphics, but if you want a game that really takes graphics to the next level I'd consider Wreckless instead.
Audio: The sounds are really good and easily impressed me. The sounds are extremely well done. And the music played in game is fantastic, but there isn't too much of it so you'll keep hearing the same songs and DJ voices over and over. You can rip music from your CDs onto the XBOX hard drive then play in game, but on some races (especially when you restart a lot, like myself) you only hear the first 30 seconds or so then you decide to restart.
Suggestions: The ripped songs on your Hard Drive should keep playing through even if you restart etc., so you don't keep heariong the first 30 seconds of your favorite songs. Also pump up those special effects!
