NHL 2002
Overall: It's a well developed game. The commentators are funny, yet they aren't over the top. They still manage to give you play by play. I have NHL 2K, and in the two years, they've made some major improvements.
Gameplay: It's a game that goes anywhere from beginner, where it's nearly impossible to lose, to difficult where it's nearly impossible to win unless you can keep up with the fast paced action. The in-game graphics are well done, down to every little detail. The players, fans, coaches, and even the ref react as they would in real life. EA Sports can still improve, though.
Graphics: The graphics are awesome. What is there to complain about? I need to use up 100 characters, but there's not much to rant about. Period.
Audio: What can I say? Perhaps some witty comment about the sound? The color commentators repeatedly made me laugh. With hundreds of comments, it takes almost an entire season to hear every comment that they have.
Suggestions: Keep improving as the technology allows.

Madden NFL 2002
Overall: A good game, somewhat frustrating at times, but overall a game that can be enjoyed for a long time. It never seems to get boring.
Gameplay: The gameplay section of this game has been well developed. The tackles seem, for the most part, realistic. The players, for the most part, act as though real players would. Their are times when the game gets very frustrating, like when the computer decides that the team you're against needs to score a touchdown, and despite the fact that you're playing the best defence you've played all game, and that you've played all the possible madden cards that you can, they still score. Your player can be about to run all the way down the field and he gets dragged down impossibly, while, going the other way, their player can break 20 tackles on his way up through the middle, to score.
The madden cards are the greatist idea I've ever seen, especially in two player mode, when both players are using them to get ahead. Franchise, Tournament, Custom League and Season are great fun to play. Some of the others, Situation, Practice, and Quick Game can get boring pretty fast. A great game.
Graphics: The graphics are well developed, closest to realism I've ever seen in a video game, yet not quite there. Some of the moves put on by players are unrealistic, but for the most part, understandable. I love how the players actually hold the part of their body that is injured, rather than just acting injured. The ball being thrown is well done, especially with the replay.
Audio: Sound is okay. I find the main tracks while on the menu screens to be very annoying, I don't enjoy hearing them. The in-game sounds are spectacular, the announcers say many lines, and the players sound realistic as the get hit and moan.
Suggestions: Soundtrack support? More in-depth training mode?

Nascar Thunder 2002
Overall: Very well done, few graphic flaws, slight amount of un-realism, but all together, a very well-rounded, enjoyable game.
Gameplay: The gameplay aspect of this game was well developed. Although after playing for too long, the crew cheif commentary becomes really annoying, especially player two's crew cheif. The other cars react properly, like you would expect real nascar vehicles to react. The opposing cars actually crash into each other, an aspect of this game I've never experienced before. A few critisms I've developed over this game: your car will always crash before any other car does, no matter how hard you try. The opposing cars seem to recover from contact without giving it a second thought, while you struggle to regain control of your car and not yer composition is a nice addition to have on, but also is some what frustrating. Although the vehicle hits speeds in excess of 210 mile per hour, you set impossible times as you hurtle around the course. That is, if you can handle the corners at these speeds.
Graphics: This game has awesome graphics, despite a few minor flaws that graphicers are yet to develop in any game. The car graphics and damage are very realistic, the track is spectacularialy designed, and the pit crew movement is awesome.When the cars sustain any damage, it amazes me that they sustain their damage for the rest of the race, unless they take a pit stop. The track graphics are great, down to the cracks in the track and the paint that sticks to the walls through the entire race, although at speeds like that, you rarely see it. I loved seeing the majority of the skid marks stay on the track for the entire race! They don't appear when you put them there, and dissapear next lap. The pit stop graphics are unmeasureable. The pit crew runs out onto the track, with tires and fuel, do actuall work on the car, and then send it off. The graphic artists are yet unable to fix the damage realistically.
There are, however, a few flaws in the graphics. The crowd seams like cardboard figures that never move, but there was no real need for them to move. They didn't need to put much effort into the crowd. Again, only a minor flaw. Another flaw is the fact that the cars morph back into undamaged cars as they travel farther away, rather than sustaining damage throughout the distance that they are away. Minor flaws. On the replay, I notice that the stands dissapear, and you view a of the car through the underside of the car, rather than showing the actual car. Only a minor flaw. These are the best graphics that I've ever seen in a game.
Audio: The sound effects of this game are spectacular. The car engine sounds realistic, car damage is realistic sounding, tires squeeling, and crowd (although hard to hear) are well developed. The crew chiefs get annoying after playing for too long, and say really annoying things. The main sound track is well pick, but I fell that the second, backup track is pathetic, and doesn't fit. I think that this game should be able to handle soundtracks.
Suggestions: Soundtrack support!!!
