Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance

Overall: Great steath type game that has a sometimes confusing, yet gripping story. The game also comes packed with many extras that wern't found in the original Son's of Liberty game.

Gameplay: Controls on MGS2: Substance are pretty well laid out. It can be a pain to engage the enemy tho. In order to aim effectively you have to click the left thumbstick, this puts you into a first person point of view.

Graphics: The graphics aren't really up to xbox standards. The offerings from this years Spinter Cell seem much more polished then the year old MGS2. The game also suffers some framerate problems out in the rain on the tanker chapter, aswell as some high action scenes on the plant one.

Audio: I can't evaluate the sound like someone with a great 5.1 setup, but the soundtrack is great. The music kicks into high gear when the action starts to heat up, and brings you into the game.

Suggestions: Take advantage of Xbox hardware. After playing Splinter Cell and seeing the graphics, MGS2: Substance just can't compare. Next time make it 'Only on Xbox' and bring us some great gameplay.

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Hunter: The Reckoning

Overall: Great game!!! After reading some of the impressions on this game from around the net I decided to pick up this gem. The great visuals, combined with killing everything in sight make this a kickass single or multiplayer experiance.

Gameplay: The gameplay overall is pretty good. The camera could be a little better, but its not that bad. If your running back to check something the camera doesn't switch behind you, so you can't see any thing thats coming.

Graphics: The graphics are great in Hunter. The zombies turn to dust and float away in the wind, and all the effects make a great visual experiance. This can't be said for the intro tho, its terrible!

Audio: One of the gripes I have with this game is the soundtrack. Sometimes when your walking somewhere music starts pounding and all these zombies begin to surround you, it really gets you pumped. I just wish it had music throughout too.

Suggestions: More characters to choose from, better camera work, a constant music score, and a better intro would do this game wonders.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10
