MechAssault

Overall: I couldn't really get into the game at first but after the first 2 or 3 hours I perfected how to use the mech and how to move behind building just enough to get my ppc shot through. Could have been more weapons, more of a customizable part to which weapons you want on your mech with a weight system that tells you if you put any more on your mech that it won't perform to it's full potential.

Gameplay: Mechassault really amazed me, I thought it was just going to be a bunch of strafing back and forth firing your weapon, but there is actually alot of strategy involved in your fight. You can battle while backtracking, if your mech is fast and has a great long range capability, or you could fight a close up battle with the summoner mech or a thor whichever one you pick you must play your strategy to fit your mech type. More customizable.

Graphics: Well I just beat splinter cell last week and looking at those graphics and then at mechassault's it just wouldn't be fair to give mechassault a 5, because of splinter cell and of one flaw that I found in the game. When you shoot down a building what should happen? Most of the time when I building implodes the pieces just don't go flying right through the ground! Come on guys with the potential of the xbox you could have at least made the scaffolding and things lay on the ground. But saying that I can't complain about the explosions when the mech blow up, TOP NOTCH when they blow up

Audio: The sound in this game was awesome other than the music skipping here and there. I liked the rock soundtrack when you get into a big battle with 2 or 3 mechs at a time.

Suggestions: Keep this kind of material coming just make the next game more customizable and make your building parts not fall THROUGH the ground.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

Overall: I really love this game. This game rocks. Even though this game doesn't have the graphics to match it, it surpasses DOA3 in all other topics, other than it doesn't have a counter button. But if you really like counters, then just pick kano, and use his counters.

Gameplay: Although I probably just pissed alot of DOA3 fans off up above, the buttons are set up easier than DOA3. If you own a xbox, and you are a fighting fan then you must get this game because it is the best. If you are sitting there thinking that I'm just, over rating this game, then your wrong. Don't think about the old mortal kombat's just think about DOA3's easy fighting system, mixed with bloodraynes level of gore, this game is awesome.

Graphics: The graphics, aren't as good as DOA3, or SPLINTER CELL, but I have to give boon credit he made some very good eye candy.

Audio: Well this is pretty easy. Boots hitting chest, jaws, and legs. Warm blood splashing on the cold cement floor. aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh it just feels so good to hear these sounds again.

Suggestions: Keep up the good work BOON, and developers.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Deathrow

Overall: I loved this game. This is like futuristic soccor, that would be banned from public television. The genre of this game has something that everyone would like. It is an rpg in on sense, because if you play the conquest mode you can upgrade and train your players while trying to draft newer and better bad asses. Also it is a fighting game because if you get pissed at someone you can be the !&%$@#* out of them, and then go on with the game. And last it's a high tech sports game. If you don't like any of these than go out and buy a racing game, because that's the only thing that is missing.

Gameplay: Like I explained above the gameplay is one of a kind. It rocks. There isn't much more that I can say, becasue this game is the first of it's kind and it is truly awesome. A
fter you play about 5 matches you feel like you have known the controls your whole life.

Graphics: The visuals are pretty much all the there. The faces on the human characters are well designed, and the glare on the robot compettitors are perfect. Some of the design put into some of the 32 areanas that you can play in is amazing. All 140 + characters to unlock are all amazingly designed.

Audio: The sound is greatly produced. The music will get you in the gameplay, and the slow motion sound morphing when you grab someone and clothsline them as hard as you can, is great. The guys on this game cuss as much as sailors, and every swear word that comes out of their mouth is crisp and sweet.

Suggestions: Don't make the commando's the hardest team on the game. SERIOUSLY THEY ARE HARD.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Thing, The

Overall: I didn't like this title when I first played it, and I couldn't even beat it, but after I went and bought the strategy guide it wasn't as hard as before. You will almost drop the game because of the difficulty in the 6+7th levels. But after you get the hang of the combat system it isn't as bad.

Gameplay: The gameplay in this game is very difficult, but after you get the feel for the sub machine gun, and lighting your enemies up in a fiery inferno, this game will become quite fun.

Graphics: The graphics, in this game are very good, especially the flames. You will run across plenty gruesome scenes and they serve the xbox justice in there leaking veins, or severed head. The only problem that I have with the graphics are the voices when one of the characters cuss.

Audio: The sound is great, you will get down right scared when you hear massive thumps on the floor around the next corner, or the squeel of the little heads with feet. But probably the best sound is the horrifying roar of the massive things.

Suggestions: Make the game less difficult, and in the first few levels, give us more health packs, but other than that keep putting out great titles like the thing.

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin

Overall: I loved this game, the blood and violence are really cool. There is an assortment of weapons, the only problem you will have with this game is deciding how to kill your next enemy, and what to kill him with.

Gameplay: The controls, are one of the simplest systems that I have ever used. Within an hour or so you will have killed your first victim, and become insanely hooked. "Ha, you didn't even see me did you". That is something that you will probably be saying to yourself.

Graphics: The graphics are very high in this game. From agent 47's bald head to the grips on his ballers. When you are on some of the outdoor levels the graphics are very hightech, from the snow falling to the leaves on the trees.

Audio: This is one of the greatest aspects of this game. All the guns sound different unlike some of the old first person shooters, such as perfect dark {n64} the shotgun, and magnum's sound exactly the same.

Suggestions: Stay in buisness, and make another bloody title for us.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Shenmue 2

Overall: I love this game, other than halo this is the best game out for the box. It starts off a little boring, but this is only because it is trying to teach you how to get used to the city. The fighting system is awesome, and becomes very addicting. You can't wait until your next fight but between that you have to learn some new moves or you will get whipped.

Gameplay: The gameplay aspect of this game rules. You can do whatever you want, talk to anyone you want to talk to, and risk all your money on a very addicting game called lucky hit in one sitting. The fighting system just adds to this.

Graphics: Some parts of this game they could have touched up on, but ryo's face is very detailed along with some of the trees and buildings in this game.

Audio: The sound is great. When you punch someone you hear your fist smacking their face. When you play lucky hit you can hear the little ball bouncing off the pins. The music is another thing that just pulls you right into this game.

Suggestions: Keep making awesome games like this one. The box needs more developers like you.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Nightcaster: Defeat The Darkness

Overall: This is one of the most under appreciated games made for xbox. The gameplay will keep you playing. It is a highly addictive game. If you want the true game it would be smart to buy the strategy guide.

Gameplay: This game is awesome. You hear everyone complaining about the camera angles but if they knew how to guide the orb right maybe they wouldn't. Learning new spells is a very cool aspect and the aging and getting more powerful is also cool. If your looking for a game where you whip the baddies by dishing out powerful ungodly spells this is the game for you.

Graphics: The overall graphics are not xbox. If they put as much details into the building as they did the spells then this game would have some awesome graphics. The NPC's could have been better but if you like the cartoony look on their faces then they are all right.

Audio: Very good sound. When you blast a powerful ice spell and it crashes into the ground there is some cool sound effects. All the spells sound awesome and they did a good job when the enemies die.

Suggestions: Throw in experience and put more detail into casting the spells. Maybe make it to where you have to push the button on time and if you do the spell is sucessful, but if you don't then it lets a less powerful version of the spell out.

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10
Bruce Lee: Quest of the Dragon

Overall: It sure would be nice to do a combo that was more than 4 hits. This game is probably the worst fighting adventure game that I have ever played. If Bruce Lee fought this bad in real life he would get his !&%$@#* kicked every time he got into a fight. If you are a Bruce Lee fan go out and buy one of his movies instead of this game becuase it ruins his reputation

Gameplay: The first few levels you will be hooked then you get to the 6 and 7th level and you can't do nothing against the enemies. They surround you from all sides and you are helpless. Even the power of the dragon can't help you in this situation. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BUY THIS GAME.

Graphics: If I wanted to play playstation I would have kept mine. This game gives xbox a bad name. If the playstation developers would have taken enough time they could have made this game for the psx.

Audio: This is probably this best part of the game, getting to hear Bruce Lee go WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. Other than that the sound just isn't there.

Suggestions: Go out of buisness
