Bleszinski’s Appearance Preempted by Justin B
Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski’s planned Thursday appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has been delayed until Monday, according to the show’s co-producer.
Writing on Twitter, Late Night co-producer Gavin Purcell said that Bleszinski’s appearance had been moved to Monday "due to a scheduling conflict."
Bleszinski himself later tweeted about the change, revealing that his appearance has been replaced by teen pop star Justin Bieber apparently the source of the scheduling conflict.
"As much as I’d like to start a fight with [Bieber], the truth of the matter is that we wanted to take a couple more days to polish what we’re showing," said Bleszinski. "Sorry all, appreciate your patience!"
To make up for the scheduling change, Bleszinski announced that he would make a Sunday afternoon appearance at the GameStop location in New York’s Union Square to "say hey, take pix, or sign things."
"And this isn’t a formal thing either," he added. "So someone might want to tell the employees there."
Bleszinski is set to announce his next game on the show.
