Assassins Creed II Sells Nearly 9 Million
Ubisoft has announced that its action-adventure game Assassins Creed II sold "nearly 9 million units" during its first few months on the market.
This figure comes by way of a financial report released by the company this morning, which cited the game as one of the reasons that its fourth quarter sales were higher than initially predicted.
The data only covers the game from its November 17, 2009 release through the end of Ubisofts fiscal year, which was March 31. Lifetime sales were not revealed at press time.
