(RUMOR) - Xbox One and Xbox 360 games may soon be playable on PC via streaming
The games, which would be playable in players browsers, could possibly be playable at around 60 FPS, a source told Neowin. The same streaming service would run the Xbox 360 dashboard in players browsers; a downside, however, is that Microsoft may have some obstacles to overcome in the licensing area –– this service could cut into publishers PC game sales.
Microsoft has been working on a research project called Outatime, which uses Doom 3 and Fable III for cloud gaming. As Gamesindustry Bix points out, this could allow Microsoft to compete directly with PlayStation Now, Sonys streaming service that is still in beta as of now.
