Circus Maximus Interview
Way back at E3 in May Teamxbox had a chance to talk to Tony Simerman of Kodiak Interactive about Circus Maximus. Heres a clip.TXBWhen we saw the game at E3, we experienced what racing in the coliseum will be like in the game. You explained how the crowds interaction and animation were still being worked on. How is this going and has it been a bit of an obstacle for your team?Just click here to check out the rest and watch out for new screenshots later this week!Tony S.Crowds are always tough because you are spending bandwidth to do something that is primarily eye candy and is at the edge of your scene. We have two types of things we are doing in this area. We have the crowd in the distance as well as 3D non-player characters that get into the action. Running a Roman soldier down into the dust of the Circus should be a satisfying experience.
