Xbox Design Lab’s First Batch of Controllers Are Shipping Now
Microsoft have been busy making those fancy new ’custom’ controller that fans have been designing, and ordering, on their new Design Lab that was announced at E3. Since the announcment they have been busy with production as each controller is handmade to order. Those who got their orders in right away can be happy to know that Microsoft has stated that the first batch of orders have shipped.
Fans who already placed their orders can expect to receive their personalized controllers in early September. For all other orders, fans can expect to receive their controllers in just 14 business days.
Microsoft also announced that since Xbox Design Lab opened for orders on June 13, they’ve seen a tremendous amount of interest and excitement. "...millions of visits to the site and hundreds of thousands of designs saved and shared across the Community Gallery, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more" have been seen.
We know that a few people here at XBA have ordered a controller, or two, and I am sure anticipation is high to get them too.
