Upcoming SSFIV: AE update is now Ultra Street Fighter IV
Prior to Sunday’s Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition grand finals, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono took the stage at EVO 2013 to talk about yesterday’s announced digital update to the game. As promised, it has received a new title, now going by the name "Ultra Street Fighter IV."
As revealed yesterday, the update will receive five new characters, four of whom (Hugo, Poison, Elena, and Rolento) are shown in action in a new trailer, posted below. It will also receive six new stages, balance tweaks based on fan feedback, and new yet-to-be-revealed modes and features. Ultra Street Fighter IV is set to arrive in early 2014 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC as both a digital add-on to Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and as a separate retail version.
