Minecraft Xbox 360 gamesaves may be transferable to Xbox One
Players of Minecraft on Xbox 360 may be able to transfer their saved games to Xbox One, according to developer 4J Studios
The company, which handles Xbox development for Mojang’s game, tweeted a reply to a follower today stating that the company is "working on ways to move Xbox 360 saves to Xbox One with Microsoft." 4J cautioned that the transfer cannot yet be confirmed "until it’s 100% working."
Earlier this year, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer said that the company is trying to solve the problem of transferring Minecraft saves.
Minecraft was released on Xbox 360 in May, 2012. An Xbox One version was announced at E3 earlier this year, offering an expanded world and more multiplayer features, with a release date loosely scheduled within the console’s launch window.
