1st Anniversary of Minecraft: Windows 10 Beta Celebrated
Microsoft and Mojang are celebrating the first anniversary of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta. Since the Windows 10 Edition released last July Team Minecrat have committed over 12,000 code check-ins and fixed over 6000 bugs. All that work has resulted in 15 updates with dozens of new features for fans, with lots more to come.
They have also announced that in the next few weeks they are adding Oculus Rift support to the Windows 10 Edition Beta in a free update as a thank-you for your continued support over the past year. If you own Windows 10 Edition and an Oculus Rift, you can jump right in and experience Minecraft in a whole new way.
To celebrate this first birthday, Team Minecraft is releasing a roller coaster map, available for free download at https://aka.ms/win10anniversary. You can check out a brief video of the map right below:
