MAJESCO BRINGS THRILLING RACING ACTION TO NEXT GENERATION VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS WITH ’LAMBORGHINI®’ Italian Motor-Sport Legend Takes Racing Genre by Storm E3, LOS ANGELES, CA, May 24-26, 2002 - Bringing the style, sophistication, and excitement of racing’s most distinguished brand to interactive entertainment, Majesco today announced Lamborghini will debut on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Xbox (tm) video game console system from Microsoft. Developed by Rage Software, the high-end racer is set to hit stores early next year. "Lamborghini has continually represented the pinnacle of automotive excellence in the racing world, and their meticulous craftsmanship has made their vehicles prized classics to sports car enthusiasts," said Ken Gold, Vice President of Marketing. "Lamborghini’s thrilling and intense game play, coupled with the popularity of racing is sure to excite even the most discerning racing fan, and make a significant impact on the genre." Lamborghini thrusts gamers into a world of exclusive fast-paced racing, living via the exciting Millionaire’s Club, where international thrill seekers hit the streets in a series of high-stakes races. With millions at risk, the competition is fierce as racers push their state-of-the-art machines to their limits. Through official and underground races, players build their collection of rare and powerful Lamborghinis. Lamborghini has a four-player split screen mode and eight-player system-link mode, in addition to its online broadband capabilities that allow the player to take their collection of cars online and compete with other drivers around the world. Lamborghini includes an array of challenges and features such as: * 20 types of Lamborghini cars from the early V12’s and Countach line, to the state-of-the-art Diablo and record-setting Murcielago series; * Accurate, unique physics and handling for each of the Lamborghini models; * Exotic race locations, including Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Paris, Italian Alps, Rome, Tokyo and California. Each location contains multiple routes, day / night racing and different weather conditions; * Other game modes include: Free Run, Test Driver, Time Attack, Arcade Championship, and Multiplayer Championship; * Dolby 5.1 support on Xbox. Lamborghini is being publicly unveiled for the first time by Majesco in Rooms 409A and 409B of Concourse Hall, Level 2, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, May 22 - 24.
