Xbox happenings
Microsoft has updated the official Xbox spec sheet on the official Xbox site. (Imagine that!) You can check it out right here. And, it looks like the Xbox community will be able to check out parts of Bill Gates keynote address during the upcoming CES event via Webcast on the official Xbox site. Check out the info below:
Microsoft today announced plans to webcast portions of Bill Gates keynote
at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) via the official Xbox Web site
(http://www.xbox.com). During and following the keynote address, key members
of the Xbox development team will participate in an online chat, hosted by
one of Xboxs independently-run fan sites, MSXbox (http://www.msxbox.com).
The CES keynote and Xbox chat will take place on the morning of Saturday,
January 6, 2001. Additional details regarding the webcast and chat will be
announced the week of January 1, 2001.
Gamers everywhere will be able to tune into portions of Bill Gates keynote
address via webcast on Xbox.com. Gamers are encouraged to view to webcast,
as well as participate in the dev team chat during and immediately following
the keynote. J Allard, General Manager of the Xbox platform and head of its
Third Party Relations team, will be the featured guest in the Xbox chat. J
will be on-hand to answer gamers questions regarding the highly
anticipated, future-generation video game console.
So be sure to tune into the Webcast and take part in the chat, looks like its going to be an Xbox new year!
