Q&A with Larry Holland

Stomped did a Q&A with Larry Holland of Totally Games. In the interview Holland talked about what he can’t wait to see in the year to come and also throws a small plug in there about Totally Games’ unannounced game they are making for the Xbox. Here a portion of the interview.

Stomped: Where do you see the industry as a whole going to in the next year?

Holland: Next year is going to be a wildly fun and chaotically challenging time. Sony and Microsoft will be fighting an all out war over the same console turf, both at retail, with publishers and developers. Sega will continue to be like a pit bull, hanging on for dear life. Ninetendo may continue to quietly watch from the sidelines, delaying their new console platform until 2002 while continuing to push, expand and dominate in the handheld market with their GameBoy line. Who will "win" is anybody’s guess, but you can bet the publishers will continue to madly scramble to cover as many bets as possible, probably significantly changing course at some time during the year.

Why don’t you head on over to Stomped and check the whole thing out!
