Digiland to sell Microsofts Xbox
SINGAPORE, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Electronics distributor Digiland International said on Thursday it had bagged the distribution rights for Microsoft Corps (nasdaq: MSFT - news - people) Xbox video game console in the city state. The move is an extension of Microsofts appointment of Digiland as its distributor for its products in Singapore and the Philippines. The gaming market will be "the springboard for Digiland to enter the larger consumer electronics market", chief executive Lim Tow Cheng said in a statement. Xbox consoles made their debut in local retail stores this week. Digiland shares were unchanged at S$0.135 on Thursday afternoon.Source: http://www.forbes.com/
