New "Arcade" for Next Gen Systrems

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2002--XGAMING, Inc., has announced a brand new product in its X-Arcade(TM) line of real arcade gaming accessories. The X-Arcade Machine(TM) is a mammoth universal arcade cabinet designed for home use, constructed of the same arcade quality materials used in real arcade machines. Standing 6 feet tall, the X-Arcade Machine(TM) looks and feels like a real arcade cabinet from your local arcade, but the uniqueness of the product is that it can be powered by any PC, Apple(TM), or next generation game console like Xbox(TM) GameCube(TM), PlayStation(TM), PlayStation 2(TM) or Dreamcast(TM) and used in a home environment. Christopher Gerding, product manager and developer of the product said: "We've got units going into homes, waiting rooms, video game companies, office break rooms, fraternity houses, day care centers, and churches across the country. Although arcades are on the decline, the joy and fun of playing on an arcade machine hasn't been lost." With this new product available for home use, XGAMING plans to bridge the gap betweens homes and arcades and recreate the arcade experience across North America. The X-Arcade Machine(TM) is the 3rd product of hyper-growth manufacturer XGAMING's intent on using differentiation through quality and service as the means to distance itself from its competitors. The X-Arcade Machine(TM) is retailed at $995 and includes an X-Arcade Two Player and connectivity for two game systems. Customers can add connectivity for other systems for $29.95. The machine can house four game systems, a PC, speakers, controllers, games and all video game accessories used in a typical home game room. The X-Arcade(TM) line of products are available at Fry's Electronics and J And R Music World. Nationwide retail availability is planned for January 2003. Check out the picture here.
