John Woo And Sega Come TogetherTiger Hill EntertainmentTM, a new interactive entertainment studio backed by famed film director, John Woo, today announced its operations and its mission to redefine the action/adventure video game genre with its innovative approach to interactive entertainment development and production. Founded to take advantage of the creative talents of John Woo and his producing partner, Terence Chang, the company announced world-renowned video game developer, SEGA® as its premier partner to establish itself as a leader in the interactive entertainment industry. According to the agreement, Tiger Hill Entertainment and SEGA have entered into a multi-year partnership to co-create and publish video games based on original and existing John Woo and SEGA properties. The formation of Tiger Hill Entertainment and its partnership with SEGA marks the first time a film maker and video game developer will simultaneously collaborate on original properties to be developed into video games, as well as potentially expand into other forms of mainstream entertainment including film, comic books and toys. Tiger Hill Entertainment also plans to expand within the comic book and toy industries in near the future.
