DDR: Ultramix Ships

REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. - November 19, 2003 - Konami Digital Entertainment - America, a division of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced that the newest addition to its popular interactive dancing series, Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX(tm) for the Xbox(tm) video game system from Microsoft, has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. The first Dance Dance Revolution(tm) game on the Xbox(tm), Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX(tm) offers new songs and gameplay modes, including head-to-head competition online via the Xbox Live(tm) service. "Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX(tm) introduces the worldwide dancing phenomenon to a whole new audience of gamers with an exciting roster of music, new gameplay innovations and online play," said Jason Enos, Product Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment - America. "From its inception, Dance Dance Revolution has developed a large fan base and now this community can be further connected to each other using Xbox Live(tm)." Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX(tm) takes the dancing series to new heights with networked gameplay and downloadable content for Xbox(tm) owners. Gamers can compete with up to four players online, talk live with other Dance Dance Revolution(tm) fans and download new songs using the Xbox Live(tm) service. The game includes more than 45 hit tracks, and downloadable songs will be available in packs of 5 songs for $5.00. An all-new CHALLENGE MODE and BATTLE MODE have also been added to keep players on their feet all night long. Up to four players can compete simultaneously offline in BATTLE MODE for the ultimate party mix or players can dance their way through various rounds to reach specific objectives in CHALLENGE MODE. For fans that are looking for a workout, the WORKOUT MODE allows players to track calories during play. Also appearing is the popular EDIT MODE where gamers can customize their own dance steps. Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX(tm) is available nationwide as a bundle pack containing the game and Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution Controller for the Xbox(tm). Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX(tm) is rated "E" for Everyone and is available at an SRP of $64.99.
