A chat with Brandon Fish
The boys over at Operation MS Xbox have put up an interview with Brandon Fish of High Voltage Software. In the interview, Fish tells how his PC experience has help him on creating titles for the Xbox. Here is a clip.
OMX: What did you learn while making the PC versions of your more popular games that will make the Xbox versions better?Brandon: Because developing for the Xbox is very similar to developing for the PC, we are able to find solutions to a lot of our problems by looking at our PC titles. We don’t have to figure out new ways to attack issues because we have already done it before. Also, PC gamers tend to be more into statistics and details than console gamers. If we can combine the action and fun of a console game with the detail that PC gamers expect, then we’re guaranteed to succeed.
