Cover Athlete For ESPN NBA 2K5

ESPN Videogames today announced that Ben Wallace, the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, will be featured as the ESPN NBA 2K5 cover athlete and spokesperson. The All-Star center helped drive the Pistons to win the 2003-2004 Finals.

"When it comes to selecting our cover athlete, it's all about finding a player that embodies the passion and commitment that we put
forth in creating ESPN NBA 2K5," said Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts - makers of ESPN Videogames. "As we continue to deliver the highest rated NBA video game, Wallace's leadership and unbridled tenacity perfectly represents our brand."

"I've been a fan of ESPN Videogames for a long time," said Ben Wallace. "I have been in their television commercials for the past two years, so I was honored when they asked me to appear on the cover of ESPN NBA 2K5."

Supporting online game play for both Xbox(R) videogame system from
Microsoft and PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, ESPN NBA 2K5 delivers intense hardwood action as court awareness and enhanced team movement have an integral role in the successful execution of plays. Pioneering a new standard in artificial intelligence and player motion, ESPN NBA 2K5 heightens the senses of the computer-controlled
player with the exciting debut of Reactive Court Sense. This new
technology allows players to independently react to opponent's
actions, creating a more in-depth, natural response system that
further blurs the line between virtual and real courts. ESPN NBA 2K5 will be available at retailers nationwide this October.
