Member Vs. Staff Halo 2 Game Results

Some would call it the thrilla in Manilla if you were to speculate a game of Halo 2 between the forum members and the XBA staff. At the conclusion of last night's first ever event, I'd call it the Forum Members destroy the XBA Staff Night. After much anticipation and stress, the event finally kicked off with a battle between 2 Forum Member teams of eight players versus a carefully handpicked team of staff players that included the owner of The game was to be objective based and we felt that Capture the Flag on Zanzibar and Waterworks would be perfect. The Zanzibar game was the new Halo 2 "Fast" version of alternating offense and defense rounds, and the second game was a classic 2 flag game. I'll tell you what, before the first game I was confident that there would be a clear and concise victory. Unfortunately, that would be the members winning! After about 15 seconds into the first round of the first game I immediately had that "lamb being led to the slaughter" feeling. So without further adue, I'd like to introduce the two winning teams. Game one on Zanibar with the member team consisting of: LTM360 No Fear 23 Dirty Destr0 AlphaCigara Dark Enemy Despair Child LightsOut78 MixMasta The above team beat the staff by making all 3 necessary flag captures for the true win. Them: 3, Us: 0. The second team that played Game 2 against the staff on Waterworks consisted of: LightsOut78 Mattgame009 WhisperXBA Xboxer2k3 Dirty Destr0 MixMasta Xorg Dark Enemy That team beat the staff by making all three flag captures as well but the score was 3 to 2 with the staff coming through to make 2 points for themselves along the way. For the record, the staff team consisted of: Kamshaft, who is Stephen-XBA (Site Owner) Highlite23, who is Tony-XBA (Site Admin) ScorpionX, who is Shannon-XBA (site admin) Casper, who is Casper-XBA (site admin) Dukebuckhorn, who is Duke-XBA (forum moderator) JJax, who is JJax-XBA (forum moderator) Reclaimer XBA (site staff) Skoot182, who is Skoot-XBA (graphics designer) Special thanks to E Nomini Patri who is ZeroFlaw-XBA for playing in the first game in Skoot's place. On behalf of the participating staff, we all had fun and we really want to get our butts... I mean play again in another member versus staff game as soon as it becomes possible. Thanks to the forum members who played and made the event possible.
