Far Cry Gets a Date

April 11, 2005 - Ubisoft today confirmed that Far Cry Instincts, the console version of the fierce-and-tropical PC shooter, will arrive in September of this year.

Developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studio, Far Cry Instincts takes the PC version’s signature locations, Full-Action Response A.I. (F.A.R. concept), and impressive view-distance, and combines them with improved gameplay scenarios that challenge players to use an even broader range of strategies and survival tactics to uncover the many secrets within the beautiful, but deadly, islands.

So far, Ubisoft is only announcing Instincts for "consoles," but we expect to hear about specific platforms soon. Stay tuned.
