Lockdown Locked DownRainbow Six: Lockdown Locked Down May 10, 2005 - The actual status of Tom Clancys Rainbow Six: Lockdown, the latest in Ubisofts popular tactical FPS series, has been tough to catch until now. The company announced the title back in November 2004, and at the time offered a spring 2005 release for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. A Ubisoft financials report in April, however, had Lockdown pushed into summer, and a GameCube version mysteriously listed where the PC one used to be. Odd. Today, however, the company offered a refreshing swig of clarity. Ubisoft is now declaring Lockdown locked-in for all four of these platforms. Even better, the company says the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube versions will all arrive in September. The PC version will follow in early 2006.
