E3 2005: Microsoft Japan AnnouncementE3 2005: Microsoft Announces Announcement Microsoft Japan announced today solid details on its plan to announce Xbox 360s Japanese launch details. Read that twice, and youll see that it makes sense (although, well admit, it could have been written better). The company will hold a press event in Japan some time in July where it will reveal details on its game plan for the last half of the year. If the timing is right, the agenda will also include final details on the Xbox 360s Japanese release date, price and launch lineup. All this was revealed at E3, although behind half-closed doors. Microsofts Japanese division invited members of the Japanese press and Japanese game industry to its "E3 2005 Xbox Japan party" for drinks, beverages, and this important announcement about the announcement. In attendance at the party were some big Japanese Xbox 360 supporters, including Q Entertainments Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Mistwalkers Hironobu Sakaguchi. Xbox 360 will hit Japan in December following its release in America. From Software has announced plans to launch its new RPG, eNCHANT arM simultaneously with the system, but aside from this, the systems launch lineup is currently unknown.
