Madden Renews EA Agreement
Boom! A few more years of telestrators and turduckens.
Electronic Arts today announced that John Madden, the Monday Night Football commentator for ABC Sports, has signed a multi-year deal with the company to continue to appear in and consult on the development of future iterations of his namesake game.

According to EA's Chairman and CEO Larry Probst, "John Madden personifies authentic football in any medium -- television or interactive."

With more than 43 million copies sold, Madden NFL Football continues to be the #1 football franchise and the all-time best selling sports franchise in North America. Madden NFL 06, the latest iteration of the game, will be available for the PlayStation 2, Gamecube, Xbox, and PC on August 9th, 2005 -- with the PSP version following in September.

That man just loves to hear himself talk and talk and talk.
