Far Cry Instincts Gets Actor and Composer

Ubisoft recently revealed some of the talent for the upcoming Far Cry Instincts. Stephen Dorff (Blade, Deuces Wild) will be voicing the main character Jack Carver using "his gruff voice and powerful voice acting skills." Paul Haslinger (who has worked on the movies Minority Report, Tomb Raider and Underworld) will be composing the score to the game.

Commenting on Far Cry Instincts, Paul Haslinger said, "I am a big fan of the book Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Immediately I saw aspects of this perennial story reflected in FCI, and I took this as a starting point for my inspiration and musical interpretation. As I watched the new graphics evolve for the Xbox version, I could also see that the CG-team was heading towards a similar interpretation with the new environments and settings: very 3-dimensional, deep, and strong in atmosphere and immersive qualities."

Far Cry Instincts should release September 2005 exclusively for Xbox.
