Ghost Recon info
PlanetXbox has gotten the scoop on Tom Clancy’s upcoming title, Ghost Recon and well..what it’s not about! Ghost Recon which is currently in development by Red Storm Entertainment, makers of the hit Rainbow Six which is also based upon Tom Clancy’s work, puts the gamer in control of a top-secret special forces unit nicknamed "The Ghosts". Sound familiar?A preview in the May 2001 issue of GamePros shed a small light on just what Ghost Recon is about but as it turns out, the game has gone through considerable changes since then. "All the Ghost Recon Xbox info that has been published to date is totally inaccurate or outdated," said Marcus Beer, PR Manager for Red Storm Entertainment. He continued to explain, "I would say that 3/4 of that info has changed - and the rest was speculation."
Publishers Ubisoft plan to show Ghost Recon at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles in a few weeks. You can check out live coverage of the Ubisoft booth as well as complete coverage of their titles including Ghost Recon at the Ubisoft E3 website.
