X05: Wolfenstein On 360
X05: Wolfenstein 360 Announced The WWII shooter on 360 before anywhere else. During Peter Moore’s section of X05’s keynote speech he introduced id Software’s Todd Hollenshead to the stage. As soon as he got on he unexpectedly announced that id Software and Raven Software were already underway with the next installment of the Wolfenstein series. No special title or release date was specifically mentioned, but it was announced that the Xbox 360 would be the exclusive first platform to receive the title. Though we craved it badly, no gameplay or cinematic footage of the new Wolfenstein title was shown. What they did show was a montage of past Wolfenstein games, highlighting the fusion of World War II and science fiction themes present in the game. The upcoming Wolfenstein game will be build along the same lines. Near the end of the video there were some brief shots of a computer monitor showing a human head being modeled for the next generation, but no further visuals were shown.
