Wrestle Kingdom Pulled From Shelves
MS just can’t catch a break in Japan. After all the various software delays, they’d finally gotten a good post-launch title providing what Japanese gamers want. That title is Wrestle Kingdom--Japan has a very decent-sized wrestling fanbase--and it was supposed to have shown up in stores today triggering some higher sales for the system.. But on the eve of the game’s release, the developer Yukes discovered that the game had trouble detecting the amount of free space on a hard drive and wouldn’t let players save their games. Rather than staying quiet and patching the game at a later time, they quickly informed game stores and asked them to send back their copies. The game’s release is cancelled for now--Yukes also offered exchanges for those who had gotten early copies. When the bug has been fixed and new discs have been pressed, the game will once again be released. Until then Microsoft Japan will have to keep waiting for their first post-launch sales spike.Source: http://xbox360.1up.com
