Hope for UFC?
The French publisher Ubi Soft says they are in all support of adult gaming. Sorry to say that Ubi Soft has not said for sure if they will carry Ultimate Fighting Championship. After reading this quote by Louise Gabriel, there might be hope for UFC after all.
"We’re no longer just a French family publisher, as was the image of Ubi Soft a few years ago," said Louise Gabriel, UK PR manager of Ubi Soft Entertainment. "We’re now a global company with offices in 18 countries and a multi-format developer and publisher for all types of gamers. As well as LUDIWAP and Gameloft under the Ubi Soft umbrella, there are 1,700 people are employed people world-wide, with 1,300 of them in development.Xbox and PlayStation 2 were both planning on getting the UFC and the Dreamcast was to get their version made in the UK before the end of the year. An announcement will be made formally by Ubi Soft with their deal with Crave in the weeks to follow."It’s not just a family catalogue - among the current 120 products, we’re also publishing adult-orientated titles such as the Rainbow Six series, Requiem, EverQuest, Peacemakers and Grandia 2."
