GET ON THE GRID WITH XBOX CANADA Exclusive Canadian contest allows gamers to make their mark online and win great prizes Join the fun at TORONTO, ON -- June 23, 2006 -- Xbox Canada today announced Get on the Grid, a one-of-a-kind online space for Canadian gamers to make their mark and win great prizes. Gamers can log on to to access the Grid, a giant internet scratch-and-win card, and select a square for the chance to win instant prizes including Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment systems, Xbox 360 games, wireless Xbox 360 controllers and more. Every square will also reveal more of the mystery artwork underneath; once 36,000 gamers have united to reveal the finished artwork, everyone will be invited back to enjoy the joint efforts of Canadian gamers… and, of course, for a chance to win the grand prize of the ultimate entertainment centre, an Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and a 40” Samsung Black Bordeaux LCD TV. Get on the Grid is now live and will be available until all of the 36,000 squares are revealed. “The Grid is our way of giving a uniquely Canadian shout out to the rest of the Xbox Live community around the world,” said Jason Anderson, Head of Marketing, Xbox Canada. “It’s a space where Canadian gamers can work together toward a common goal while getting the chance to win some great prizes at the same time.” Get on the Grid offers two ways of winning: by revealing a winning square to get an instant prize or by entering to win the grand prize, an Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and a 40” Samsung Black Bordeaux LCD TV.
