Xbox 360 Recall at EB Games AustraliaEB Games Australia has temporarily been forced to stop selling premium Xbox 360s following a recall, reportedly due to a faulty batch of hard disk drives. According to Kotaku, sources within the company confirmed that store managers were first asked by Head Office to test every unit in-stock for errors a few weeks back. Managers were then told to return all stock and remove Xbox 360 promotional material from their stores. Due to the fact that Core units appear to be unaffected, it is believed that the problem emanates from rogue HDDs. Kotaku understands that new stock will hit most Australian EB stores by Wednesday.
