According to Bloomberg, the price of a “basic version” - presumably the Xbox 360 Arcade system - will drop by 17 percent to NT$10,360 ($340) in Taiwan, by about 11 percent in Hong Kong, by 5.1 percent to 369,000 won ($369) in Korea and by 20 percent to S$499 ($366) in Singapore.

Microsoft last cut the price of its family of Xbox 360 consoles in Europe in March, reducing the recommended retail price of the Arcade model to £159.99, which is £20 cheaper than Nintendo’s Wii.
