Galleon InterviewAn interview took place with IGNXbox and Toby Gard, the co-founder of Confounding Factor. During the chat Gard talked about how well Galleon was coming along and what kind of gameplay we can expect from his upcoming game. Here is a tidbit.
IGN Xbox: Could you describe how combat will take place in Galleon?
Toby Gard: It is a movement based attack system. The Game has two modes at all times, Locked-on and normal. The fighting works slightly differently between them. When you fight in normal mode, Rhama picks his attacks based on where enemies are relative to him, meaning that you get a kind of kung-fu free for all. However when you are locked on, you can instigate specific combos, allowing you to attack different enemies is different ways.
