Circus Maximus Interview
A little while back XBOXFaction had a chance to interview Nathan Sumsion who is working on Circus Maximus, here’s a little clip.XboxFaction: Will there be any obstacles to avoid during the races? Animals, boulders, birds, or natural disasters? Will weather changes affect gameplay?Just click here to read the restNathan: There will be several types of obstacles to avoid during the race. In each track, centurions and barbarians, peasants and merchants will be watching the chariots as they race by, and many times end up getting in the way. The driver can try and drive around them or the warrior can simply knock them out of the way! Flocks of birds and various livestock wander along the roadways. There will be natural elements of the track that may cause problems as well, such as ravines where you can steer your opponents into, low-hanging branches or gates that can clothesline you if you don’t duck in time. Each course will be very alive and active.
