Well then, Final Fantasy lovers, Square Enix has just
ensured you will have absolutely no money left for at
least a few months.

The Japanese publishing giant has announced a Final Fantasy
XIII Special Edition Xbox 360, which will come with a 250
GB 360 unit, two controllers, free avatar items, and a
standard edition of FFXIII.  In contrast to the 250 GB
Modern Warfare 2 unit released last year, this one is...
white.  With "Final Fantasy XIII" engraved somewhere on it.

No price has been officially announced, but hey, that’s
just so no one gets scared off before March 9, when
pre-ordering starts.  "Select retailers" will also be
carrying a limited edition FFXIII 360 faceplate designed
by Testuya Nomura.  You know, in case you have money left
over from getting the bundle.

Update:  The PAL version has also been revealed, as seen
below.  The contents in the bundle are still the same --
engraved 250 GB engraved Xbox 360, avatar items, two
controllers, a copy of the game -- but the box is a tad
more complex.
