Overall: You, as the player take the role of "The gifted one" and as such it is your responsibility to recover your lost memory and save the last surviving humans. all while doing so in a dystroyed Tokyo. the game is well put together and well thought out, and only for twenty dollars. Gameplay: This is at its heart a card battle game. but it is nothing like a pokemon or yugioh. rather then having literal decks you have power orbs that you can map to the face buttons and use power to activate them. all of the orbs are broken up into different groups such as the obvious attack and defence skills to the more obscure erase and enviormental skills. all of the attacks have different effective ranges and the game is full of strategy, you really have to think one step ahead of the computer player. the camera works rather well but when you are locked on to an enemy sometimes you have to free the lock so you can look around and get your bearings. and sometimes later in the game i get frozen by an enemy's attack when the enemy is halfway across the level.other then that the game is solid my only real complaint is that there are not enough game levels i played the same three stages more times then i would like to remember. but custom soundtrack ability more then makes up for it. Graphics: the graphica are all very well done. the world looks like a spin off of the Matrix. and the character models are all well put together. all the different attacks have a certain look to them and when you see a big fire ball headed towards you you know its going to hurt. also the levels are completely destructable even the weakest attacks leave a big hole in whatever it touches. that is a very nice touch. Sound: the sounds of all the powers are great, varied and are really neat to listen to. there is not much of a game soundtrack to speak of except for when you are in your home base sometimes you can hear classical back music playing which gives the game a great errie feel to it. but the thing that saves the score is the costum soundtrack ability which is well done. listen to linkin park well killing your best friend. all of this is great. Suggestions: great game overall microsoft. but please when you make a sequel and you better, put more levels in it and let me name my own character the guys in the game comes up with the dumbest names ever.
